It's probably a good thing that you broke up. It's not great being around anyone who causes this kind of stress reaction in you, no matter what. I'm sorry about your breakup, but these things do happen to everyone when you are young - and a little heartache in life is normal. How can you appreciate being happy if you never have been blue? Things will get better, Hun.
If you can; try to avoid him as much as possible, even if you are in the same school. No one needs that kind of stress. And this could just be the way your body handles things - some people get stomach aches, some get migraines or break out in hives - you get nosebleeds.
You may find that you are prone to nose bleeds when during the hormonal fluctuations of the menstrual cycle. In a process called vicarious menstruation, surging estrogen levels in the bloodstream can cause the vessels in the nose to fill up, leading to bleeds!!! Though that this might be interesting to you, just in case you had not noticed this!!! Lastly - To stop a nose bleed... SIT. Lean forward. Press the affected nostril closed GENTLY but firmly. Hold for 10 minutes. If your nose bleeds for more than 30 minutes - Get Medical Attention!!! Best of luck with everything Hun. x x x

Some people do believe that stress can be related to nosebleeds but it is more likely to be another cause. You might want to visit your GP and get your blood pressure checked out if you are really concerned about your stress levels.
