But it seems like when I get my heart rate up, like when I'm on top pumping hard, I start to lose my erection. It's like the blood is going to my muscles rather than my penis. Is this normal? I have had checkups with my Doc, blood tests, etc, and everything checks out OK. I am in shape, and exercise regularly. I am a tad bit off form because of the winter and I am a competitive cyclist, but still very healthy. What I do to combat it is slow down, get my breath back, and then it seems to harden again. But my GF likes it hard, and she likes missionary...so I am usually on top, banging away.Has anyone else experienced this before?

I'm an endurance athlete myself and the old circulation system reacts strangely sometimes. Anyway - it could be psychological - cause its happened a few times, you think it will happen again and then that when you loose your erection not becuase of lack of blood...my advice is change positions a few times to maintain your erection more and if need be finish with missionary - youre heart rate cant go up that much when your lying on your back can it????
Also talk to your lady - she will want you to be happy and maybe you can work out ways to overcome it - I promise you a couple of times of overcoming what ever you think the stimuli are then this wont be a problem ever again.
