writes:I have a boyfriend and it is great. I am 45 and cautious. I am at an impasse. I know this is crazy, i lent him some money, not a large sum. I had the opportunity to be alone in his house and went through some files. He told me he has had a tough few years and I get that, but I now know how bad it was. I am not sure if he is a predator on the take or if he is really making change and loving me for being part of it. I am not sure if i should disclose my concerns based on my snooping.

 I think it's a case of sitting back and waiting to see how things go. You are wiser for the knowledge of his difficulties so you will see any falls coming your way. Just dont lend him any more money, at least not until he has paid you back the first lot.
