A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I have been married for 2 years and have just found a note in husbands phone with a porn site (it was in a notes app and looked like he cut and pasted the page). I understand men sometimes like to look at porn but the title of the porn site was teen sex. I havent looked at the site but given the name im unsure if what he is looking at is even legal. I confronted him about it and he claimed it was spam and not his (i dont believe you can get spam in notes apps on your phone but he claims it mustve been hacked) i'm unsure what to do about it any advice? He seems to be a good father and husband and i would never have thought this of him.

Loads of porn sites with young women in have the word teen in them it means 18-19 yr olds and in practise a lot of the women are well into their 20's.I have a friend who is a prostitute and she markets herself as a teen on her website but she is 27 lol .I imagine a paedophile website would try and hide rather than blatently calling itself teen sex bla bla

A male reader, anonymous, writes (12 December 2014):

In my observations the word teen seems to apply to under 30s so you shouldn't jump to the conclusion that your husband is a pedophile! But, he clearly lied to you, probably out of shame. Both are bad and disrespectful to you. You both need to talk honestly, share your feelings. If you do that more often he probably won't be interested in teen, or any other porn.

Ah, yes, the good old teen porn.

I don't believe him, either. He clearly looked that up on his own.

A couple of observations. First, that genre is big business. It's amazing how many men are into it. Even older men, which thoroughly grosses me out. It is also VERY sketchy, and unless it is a reputable site with clear disclaimers about actresses being of age, it is entirely possible they are not. Not only does this mean your husband is supporting sex trafficking, but could also very possibly open him up to being charged with child porn possession. This has, and does happen. He is treading in some very dangerous waters, and if he isn't aware of these things I would damn well make sure he is. And make sure he knows "I was hacked" will have zero effect on the cops.
