To my misfortune, that same week he told me he cheated, well not really cheated but he slep with someone else the day after V-Day. I was still so hurt b/c we were suppose to be working things out. Through it all, I was ready to forgive him. I went to his home to talk and all he did was sit there and acted stuck, stupid and surpised. Yet, he says he still loves me. Am I a jack ass for even pushing the envelop as much as I have?

You may have forgiven him and the ball is at his feet.
Give him sometime for him to think clearly.
He may still have some misgivings about himself
or he felt he is not worthy of you .
Whatever, try to communicate with him till he has gained back his confidence.
If there is no response from him , you should move on.

Is either tell him you srsly want to talk to him if by anyway he tries to change the subject or laughs as if it was a joke OR! like does not give any contact to you (eye contact etc) that means he found someone else.
I wish you the best of luck and if it doesn't work out find someone who will cherish you.
