reader, anonymous, writes (3 March 2008): it was unprotected sex and she used no spermicide but is it usual that the guy gets this pain in the urethra when the woman is on top. i dont get this problem when i am on top only when its the other way round and the pain doesnt last long but fades after a few minutes. could it be that the womans discharge???????

reader, anonymous, writes (2 March 2008): Hi, well this happened to me and my boyfriend one time, but I will assume you had unprotected, well I used this Vaginal Contraceptive Film, and I dont think that we let it set properly so when we were having sex he complained of a burning sensation in his urethra, and if the girl had some kind of spermicide before you guys did your thing it probably irritated you.

You can become a little bruised inside from using a lot of angle thrusts, which frequently occur with woman-on-top, especially if she leans back. Bruising can also occur in other positions. If that's what occurred, it should go away fairly quickly, and if not, a checkup is a good idea.
