shania agony auntI certainly wouldn't stay with someone because i felt sorry for them,you would only end up hating them and losing all respect.If you want someone else then go for it....life is too short to be pleasing other people.No one likes to being dumped but its a fact of life.Dont prolong this any longer....good luck.

smeedle agony auntGo with your heart and finish it, yes it will hurt but that is better than staying with someone you no longer love out of pity and worry about hurting them, deciet hurts more and before long you will be tempted to stray so dont stay!!

End it. Do the deed and put yourself out of this torment. I never seen a love relationship endure for very long, once 'pity' becomes an encompassing factor. Good Luck.
