A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay so my girlfriend of 4 months had recently gone on a long holiday with her family. its been a month since i've seen her so far and i wont see her again for another 3 weeks. I'm literally dying. I miss her so much, i see couples everywhere and im balancing trying to have fun with my family and being depressed and counting days.

She knows i love her, and i know its the same for me and we are really great together. Recently though, she's been kinda slipping away for me. She seem to make effort to try and talk to me, her answers always seem 1 wordy and succint and she always has to go in like 5 minutes. Apparently she's also made some big changes to the way she looks and she love it but i have yet to see it. I feel like this really clingy boyfriend that keeps trying to start convos and seems to rant on when she's just ignoring me.

Do i just shut up and give her space? am i losing her? :S wat to do....

eyeswideopen agony auntShutting up and giving her space is a good idea. You'll know what's what when she gets back. Relax and try to enjoy your summer.

VSAddict agony auntIt's going to be this way since you two can't physically see each other. And she's spending time with her family and probly having fun, so don't feel bad. She's probly doing a lot with them to give you her full attention/time. So don't feel bad and just deal with it. Ocuupy yourself with some of your favorite hobbies and some new hobbies to keep your mind off her until it's time to talk to her.
