I feel left behind and that a guy will never fancy me!

A age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I will soon be turning 16 and I have never been kissed. I feel embarrassed about this because most girls I know have been going out with guys for ages. I feel as if I'm being left behind and that a guy will never fancy me. I'm losing all my confidence and getting quite desperate, to be honest. I want to know if there are other girls in the same position as me and how I would go about attracting guys.

Xx-Scorpio-xX agony auntI'm 17 nearly 18, and only just recently just had my first kiss and a lot of my friends have already had them ages ago so i understand what you're feeling. Maybe you could get some friends who have lots of friends who are guys and ask if you can get to know them? Just be yourself around them and not worry about the fact they are boys.

And if you are waiting for your first kiss for longer then the wait will make the kiss itself seem even better than it would have previously. :)

Good Luck! 3

My friend was in the same situation, she got her first boyfriend at the age of seventeen and they were smitten immediately, they even got married at the age of twenty three.

You've still got plenty of time for a boy to like you, you're bound to find someone who likes you, perhaps you just haven't noticed them, some boys can be shy too.

There really is no secret formula to win a man's heart, love has to happen naturally so just be yourself and in time a boy will come to recognize you for the beautiful person you are, and maybe he already has, perhaps you're not looking in the right places.

However I have found that using body language and looking for body language can be very helpful. For example a man's torso will always lean a little bit closer to the object/person in the room he considers most important. Whereas we girls fix our make up sometimes a bashfully guy will unknowingly fix his socks in the presence of a girl he likes.

Best of luck, I'm sure you'll find someone :)

A male reader, anonymous, writes (21 August 2010):

you shouldn`t feel left behind their are many people that have never been kissed by the time they were 16, and its bot always good to date when your young, its always better to wait till you feel you mature enough, and most people aren`t mature when there younger, so don`t feel sad, your time at datting will come just let it happen naturly.
