I am reasonably attractive for my age but its so easy now for guys to get women and if you want dates why woudl they date me when there are so manay pretty younger females around and so easy to egt and of course sex is easier to get now I find it all so frustrating for me becasue i fear there is little hope NOT jsut the age but the fact there are so many easy outlets for men to get women now and many girls will sleep with me straight away why would they bother with a decent one?  I work with a woman who lost her husband early in her marriage and had to raise her daughter by herself. She remained single for many years. She is your age. Then a year or so ago she met a man through friends and they fell madly in love and are now married. It can happen to you at any moment. Keep the faith Babe.

reader, anonymous, writes (17 July 2008): Sure, there are loads of women signed up to dating sites and such like, but you have to remember that women like yourself will be mainly wanting long term relationships, whereas the men will mainly be looking for a bit of spare or the odd quickie. The women must want to date the men. It's the women who get to pick and choose the men, not the other way round.
I can't see very many young women dating much older men - unless they are rich, famous or a footballer!
And the answer to the last sentence of your question - Oh yes they will! And if they won't they're not worth wasting any time or sleep over! There's someone for everyone - you just have to project your personality and requirements to best effect to attract the right sort of man.
