I think you might have a bit of an eating disorder if it continues for a while, as in a good few weeks/months. If you're doing it to lose weight, then I'd say it's the wrong way to go about it. You'll make yourself ill. You'll feel tired, look tired, have moodswings, feel generally unhappy and your skin, hair and nails will look bad, plus the condition of your teeth will worsen. So stop making yourself sick and just eat healthily and exercise to lose weight. Look after yourself and if it persists or gets worse I'd go see a doctor. Good luck. X

By doing this, you're putting a lot of stress to your body which can cause problems eventually.
If it wasn't a problem, you wouldn't have asked that question here. It might be a eating disorder called Anorexia.
Here's what I've found online:
Those who are suffering with this illness have a low self-esteem and often a tremendous need to control their surroundings and emotions. The Eating Disorder, Anorexia, is a unique reaction to a variety of external and internal conflicts, such as stress, anxiety, unhappiness and feeling like life is out of control. Anorexia is a negative way to cope with these emotions. New research indicates that for a percentage of sufferers, a genetic predisposition may play a role in a sensitivity to develop Anorexia, with environmental factors being the trigger.
