writes: Im 13 and I weigh 9 stone. I cant get a girl because nobody even looks at me. I dont look too overweight (im only overweight by a about a stone) but I hate myself. i dont eat a lot of sugar and i have regular exercise. has anyone else had a problem like that? im really worried because my brother used to be like me but lost weight at about 12. i hate myself, i cant look in mirrors anymore.

 Look mate, I'm 14 myself, and I just want to clarify that as sparkii said, there may well be that there is a girl that tries to make eye contact with you and when successful smiles at you, and there may well be a girl who likes you. I don't want to get you down, but don't get your hopes overly high. I did that last year and it almost killed me (metaphorically of course). But hey, dont be down, there is definitely a girl out there for you ;)

 okay ur not overweight 9 stone at 13...heck thts nuffink dnt worry!! and some girls are at the stage where they would rather be going out shopping not reassuring i no. but surely theres one? one tht catches ur eye every now and again who smiles at you as she sees you in the corridor? if not try smiling at a girl u like. it looks like ur confidence is really down if u cnt look in mirrors, there must b something u like about urself, focus on that and you will soon realise ur hot again
