Another_Kapiti agony auntYou say "Should I wait for the guy you love" (If you love him, then you should wait until the time is right for you both) "Or my best friend", now this is a hard situation!! Your best friend knows all your secrets, knows you best above anyone else, so going into unexplored dating territory with a friend could be excellent or disastrous!! Are you willing to sacrifice your best-friendship for something that may or may not work out in the long term? I'm speaking from experience when I say that it's easy to confuse feelings of 'love' when you're that close to a male friend when it could just be friendship love. Go carefully and really think about the situation before you dive in head first! You can't undo dating your best friend and go back to a normal friendship, it almost never works out. Good luck!

Fatherly Advice agony auntI know that this is unpopular advice, but at your age go out with both of them spend some time with each, so you can compare them better. It will give you more info to base your decisions on when you are 16 and 18 and 22 (which is when you really do need to settle on one) Enjoy being young. Have lots of good experiences. There is plenty of time to be old.
