writes: I need some help. I met this man at his shop through my driving instructer and I'm going to buy a car from him. I gave him my number to call me when the car was ready. I went to his shop last week and he was fixing it all up for me and he'll let me go for a testdrive when it's done. I know he likes me and the feeling's mutual but my instructer brings all the hot girls there, he's brought someone I know and this man I like didn't bother trying to hit on her or anything like that and she's really hot I had 2 questions. Do u think he's a ladies man since my instructer brings alot of girls there? and do u think he's just keeping it professional for now that's why he hasn't called me? A man wouldn't pimp out my car and fix everything wrong with it for a really cheap price if he wasn't into me, well that's what I think,that's what I 'm hoping. What do u think?

Well, who knows whether he fancies you - you can only try your luck, as the other Agony Aunts have suggested.
However hon, not wanting to taint all mechanics with the same brush, but I too had a thing for my mechanic (he was quite fit!). And I melted when he flirted with me/offered to work on my car for very cheap prices. We dated for a couple of months, but I ended up dumping him when I realised that he was also shagging another of his customers! The latest news now is that he is shagging the woman that lives next door to me! Of course, your mechanic could well be a professional, but please just be careful. I think lots of women have crushes on their mechanics, and it can be quite easy for them to exploit this.

 I think you need to take it by the horns and asl him.. He probably gets alot of work put his way by your driving instrctor and hes probably good at his job and good at doing the job for a good price. Just because he has your number doesnt mean hes going to call, hes got that in a proffessional capacity and probably gets lots of numbers. Doesnt mean he will call every girl! He may be interested, or he may already have a girlfriend. What you have to remember is that hes doing his job, so hes gotta be polite and friendly. Make sure your not reading too much into it and ask him if you think he really is interested, you wont know until you try!

 There are two things for you to think about. Firstly, I am sure your driving instructor is on commission with this guy for referring customers to him. He probably takes girls and boys to the car dealer - hot or not - just to get some money. Secondly, what you think is 'hot' may not be the same as what a man thinks is 'hot' as everyone is different. This man is being nice to you as you are going to buy a car off him. You may think he is offering you a good deal, or a cheap price because in your head you would like to think this way as evidence of how much he fancies you. You maybe right, but he maybe just being friendly to get your money, and you are probably inexperienced about cars if you have recently passed your test. There is only one way to find out really. Once you have your car from him you could always drive his way, or call him one day and ask him out for a drink. If he knocks you back then you wouldn't have to see him again so it wouldn't be too bad!
