I fancy my girlfriends good friend, and i know she fancies me but I dont know what to do because i dont want to hurt my girlfriends feelings, i really do want to be with her friend. please help?

reader, anonymous, writes (10 May 2006): not good. i dont think you truly love your girlfriend. you need to break up with her before you do something stupid. let her know that things arent working out. im sure she'll understand. whatever you do just be honest!

 Well my friend, this is not a good situation to be in. I think that you cant truly love your girlfriend if it is your desire to be with her friend. Perhaps you should think long and hard about the relationship you ar ein, ask yourself why is the relationship grim and what can be done about it. In time, you may be able to see her friend, but there will always be tension and perhaps some jealously and your girlfriend will feel hurt and betrayed. Whatever you do, be honest. Good luck. xXx
