writes: I'm 16 and can't stop thinking about my best friend. I'm a girl, he's a guy, and I just like him so much. But my ex-boyfriend, who still likes me, is also one of his really good friends. Plus, he's been out with one of my girl mates 5 times, and another girl mate asked him out, but he turned her down. She's no longer my friend, as she betrayed me because this was after I told her I was in love with him. I get the feeling he feels the same way, but he's really slippery and I never know what he thinks. I want him so bad, but the last time I told him I liked him, he just ignored it. Please help! x

reader, anonymous, writes (14 January 2006): I'm in pretty much the same situation right now. I've just had to keep trying, so you do the same hun. If he does like you, he will come out and tell you. Maybe he's shy or unsure of how he feels about you. Either way, be patient and see what happens
