Exercise comes hand in hand with good diet. You lose weight in the kitchen, not the gym. Control your amount of calories intake depending on the weight you want to achieve. Its not hard to find information on the amount of calories you're supposed to take in a day. Also, you need to eat loads of protein whilst cutting down your calories. Protein builds new fibres and increases your metabolism rate. If you're already with a gym, then you should talk to someone who knows about dieting and ask them about the calories target you should be achieving each day. If you're strict enough with your diet (some people do weigh their food to ensure they are getting exact portions of food), there should be no reason why you wouldn't be shedding the weight. Diets like this can usually work alone for weight loss, but with your constant training, your metabolism rate should even be higher, thus having better results. I say continue your training (maybe limiting it to 45 mins to an hour a day, 3 times a week would be more effective as your body needs rest), and encorporating your diet into it. You should be seeing results in a months time.
