A female Kenya age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am 18 and my boyfriend is 22. I really like him but the problem is that i am not sure he is faithful! I have been told that he has another gf who is alot like me back at his home and i am very insecure about this.We have been together for six months and i have met almost all his friends, acquintances and family. They all know and treat me as his gf so this is kinda reassuarin but i still doubt him.He swears that she is his ex and i really want to believe him but...Most of my family know him from his past and have warned me against pursuing this.I like him sooo much...I hate that he is so secretive and avoids the subject everytime i bring it up!

What do i do? We talk alot about a future together and i'd really like us to have one but i dont want to waste my time chasing after something that'll never be! Help...

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (21 May 2008):

Well other than hiring someone to follow him round there is not a lot you can do.

Tell him that you need to talk about this if you are to stay together.

Talk to his family about it and his past. Talk to your family and ask them how he can prove he is right for you.

No one can tell you yes or no, but if you can't trust this man then follow your instinct and don't commit to him.

Good Luck!! xx
