 Talk to him and tell him you don't want to jeopardise your relationship, but you like him but you need to know if something bad happens, you can still be friends. Talking to him will solve this. Just find all your courage and explain it to him. Anyways, relationships that started out as just friends are always the best, you know him rather than just rushing in.
