So I have a pretty tight group of friends its about eight of us and one of my friends has had this crush on one of our other friends for a while but he doesnt have feelings for her in that way and thinks of her as just a friend. So just this week he confessed to my other friend that he likes her and that he has liked for for about a year now and now they wanna date. My friend who likes him says she is cool with it and doesnt care and that she is over him. But when we all hang out now everything is awkard and uncomfortable and now she like i guess i have to deal with it but i dont wanna see it. My question is how do i handle this cause i dont wanna choose sides and i dont wanna lose anyone as a friend and its like there coming to me with there problems with each other and im in the middle.

tennisstar88 agony auntYou don't have to choose sides. Tell them both you are neutral, that if they have a problem with each other they should be discussing amongst themselves like adults and not bitching to you about one another. Just simply say you're staying out of it, to not involve you.
