I don't want to be in a FWB relationship

Question - (19 July 2009) 3 Answers - (Newest, 19 July 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My b/f and I split up but now I think he wants me back but I feel that he wants me to call him and chase him. We have talked and have seen each other a few times. He said I have been waiting two months to see you. My question how should I handle this? Should I call him? Or wait for him to call? He is very good at hiding in his cave by himself and emersing himself in work. Even when we were together his friends would constantly call to do things with us or with him but he just liked to stay or home or go out with me. A true caveman. I am not sure what to do now. When my other relationships split up I did not want to go back but with him I do.So I don't know how to handle this. Also, how long before I sleep with him again? We are greatly attracted so it will be hard. But I don't want to be easy and I definitely do not want to be FWB. Advice would help.

No our relationship was never a FWB. It was very intimate, he wanted me to move in. Something happened outside source which caused a problem but it was never about how we felt for each other. But it did hurt both of us. So now what should I do?

thatgothgirl20 agony auntI think that when you get back together it would be okay to sleep with him again. Some people have this as part of the making up process. If you don't want to be a FWB, make sure that you ask him, are we bf/gf again?" before you go to bed with him.

If he`s waiting for you to call,he`s probably still carrying a flame. Sleeping with him soon? Its not like you have just met him. If he`s able to use you for sex, then that's what he was doing to start with. If you started as FWB then that's how he will see it. You should tell him what you want and expect,if he`s only wanting sex it will soon show.
