writes: My teacher always stares at me ?I'm a 17 year old female and I've noticed that a male teacher who I haven't had as a teacher constantly stares at me in the hall ways as well as sometimes when he pops into my other classes. It started last year and still happens this year.So here's what has happened last year: Everyday I walked down the same hallway and him and this other teacher(btw they're best friends) would be standing and I would say hi to the other teacher (his best friend)because he was one of my teachers that year. And then I just glanced at him and he was really stiff and his eyes were really wide. This would happen almost every time. And then in the hall ways he would always look at me so I looked at him just to see if it was just in my head. And nope it wasn't so I was like okay , I'm just not going to look and see if he stops. He didn't, he kept looking. And one time I was walking into the library and he was walking out so and I just looked up and before I could ignore him he looked at me and had wide eyes (like omg reaction) but I played it off. And then another time in the library, I walked in and saw him and he looked at me, so then i went to the librarian and was asked her a question but from my purifier vision i see him look at me again .And then this time I was in class(his best friends class) and he popped in (he did that quite a bit). Anyways, I had just finished answering a question and then he came into the class. So I was purposely not looking and being really quiet. But I noticed that his friend went up to him and said ''his name'' while he wiggled his eye brows while his eyes shifted(indicated) over there (towards me). Then his friend continues and starts to talk and mentions me. His friend continues and asks the entire class a question but I had my head down just being really quiet and hes like '' come on Jenna you just answered this question'. So i obviously had to answer.Another time he popped into class and I was at my teacher desk asking him a question about my work. And he walked through the other door of the classroom so he was near my spot. Once I was done talking to my teacher I start walking to my seat and I see him kind of turn to the door but then turn back almost like oh **** i have to. So he starts walking and we sort of meet in the middle of the isle when we pass, I just side step normally but he sort of jumps/shuffles nervously passed me.And then this year: I walked in and went immediately to a computer b/c I had to finish a project. But then I saw my friend and when over and asked her a question. We talked for a while and then I started walking back to my chair but before I did.I looked up and I saw him and he was looking at me with a dear caught in the head lights look. I didn't realize his class was in the library. So I just went back to doing my work and I just happened to be sitting beside these girls in his class who weren't doing their work so he had to go and talk to them but at the time I had turned around to talk to my friend again and from my purifier vision I could see him kind of hesitantly walking to the girls almost like he was nervous to walk over there.he always looks at me in the hallways, when he's talking to other teachers he'll stop and look at me. I'll be talking to my friend and he'll look at me and walk by and then when he gets to his classroom he'll look at me one last time.btw, ive stopped looking at him (just to check if its in my head) and he still does the same thing.. its not in my head.any thoughts?? (and sorry for writing a novel)

As he is in a professional position/member of authority, he is NOT entitled to make you feel intimidated or uneasy in any way. He can potentially lose his job and trust if he is caught red handed.
You are tackling this in an appropriate manner by not encouraging him e.g initiating eye contact and blanking him. As he does not teach you, he may have developed an intense attraction to you and feels like it is an obligation to be attracted to a younger girl, and does not have to spare the humiliation of fdancying one of his fellow pupils.
He is abusing his job position by exhibiting signs of innapropraite attraction to a much younger girl. I would steer well clear of him, and any girl in their right state of mind would not even consider dating him. If he persistantly continues even though you have done all the tricks necessary to not mislead him, i would discuss this with a trusted adult, and then they can decide what action to take :)
Just remember, this was beyond your control, and neither did u provoke him in any way :) It is his error that he cannot restrain himself and his downright sheer creepiness
Good luck and stay safe xxxxxx

Your teacher might to be attracted to you. Nothing to worry about, he won't make any advances on to you, because he would be putting his job at risk. Just ignore him.
