writes:Ok heres the story short. I,m 17 and i,m talking to a guy ( 17 ) who i used to date we,ve lost contact over the past year and now he,s back and he has a son who is 9 months old. He says he wants me and only me. I want to say no to him but I keep looking at his little boy. His mother wants nothing to do with the father or son and i adore the child. The father keeps saying that he,s in love with me but i do not feel the same toward him. If i say no he probably wont let me see his baby again and The child does need a mothers love. I know i,m only 17 but i can't let the child be without a mother :(:(:( I really need help :( Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (13 September 2009): I how you feel but you can be a great role model to the little. By being there for him and loving him you don't have to be with his father to give the boy your love. He needs someone to always be there and if you get in a relationship with someone you don't love then he might not work out and then what the child won't understand why you're no longer around. You should consider the relationship you could have with the little boy if you didn't date his dad I mean you could do right by him without dating his dad I hope everything works out for you.
