A female reader, Angelicc United Kingdom +, writes (17 July 2006):

Angelicc agony auntOkay firstly you need to sort out your current relationship, if you've decided that this relationship isn't for you it's best to tell him now it'll hurt more in the long run. When you enter in to a relationship with a friend you risk your friendship and that'you decided to take. But it's unfair to stay in a relationship if the only reason is because you don't want to ruin your friendship it's unfair on your boyfriend as it give him false hope and security.

And you second problem, long distance relationship can be hard as i know from personal experience but they also can be worth well ti all depends if you willing to put the work in.
