I don't like the way my ex and I fell out. I want to talk to him but I don't think he will allow it

Hi - I have made a bad situation with my ex even worse - how do I stop feeling like it's one big car crash? I know you guys will probably tell me to move on etc - and I am over my ex really - it's just I don't like the way we fell out.

First of all I accused him of cheating because he was flirting with this girl. Then he fell out with me and we split up. Then he blocked me on phone and social media for thinking I was poisoning peoples minds against him which I wasn't. Then he got with this girl which made me even more angry that I sent him a nasty note pointing out a few home truths and now we totally ignore each other as he probably can't stand my guts.

I know I'm not totally innocent in all this - but if only he had tried to talk things through with me from the start rather than cutting me off - things would've been better and not escalated into all this mess.

I feel it's like it's one big car crash. I wish I could start over again and talk things through - but he'll not want to talk now.

What should I do to calm things?
