ok so last night my girlfriend's friend told me that my girlfriend has been cheating on me like a while ago during 4 months of our relationship, got fingered and fooled around with guys so i confronted her about it and we had along talk to just find out if what her friend said to me was a lie. I know she cheated on me before but just a kiss but my girl told me her friend misunderstood her. she said that the guy fingering her was wrong just that he wanted to finger her and she said no and that's the same guy she kissed.

The next thing that was said was she fooled around in her bed with this guy. she told me that they were just sitting in bed talking and he wanted a hug cuz he was sad about something and then he wanted to fool around and she said no but her friend is kinda like a best friend to her and a childhood friend to me so i dont know who to believe, i believe both sides in a way, its hard to explain who i trust because she my girlfriend but the other girl is a childhood friend and i know she wouldnt lie to me.

I guess could my girl be telling me the truth about this and that he friend really did missunderstand what she said or could my girl be lying straight to my face. should i break up with her or should i stay with her and see if things change and get better and if she shows the signs of lying dumb her? i need help cause i love this girl but i dont know if she really loves me.

where there is smoke there is fire. too much of a coincidence about all these stories and your gf having a convenient answer for everything.

cannot tell you what to do but know this: you are young and you should not put all your eggs in one basket.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (7 January 2010):

The thing is, you already know for a fact that your girlfriend has kissed another guy. She sat on the bed and he wanted a hug and nothing happens just sounds very suspicious. She cheated once by all accounts, and I think it's more likely she has done again. You're still a young guy, there are others out there. Think about whether you'd be better off calling it quits and looking for someone else you can trust.
