hey everyone, this isnt really a relationship issue/question, but ive been panicking about this for a while. I'm going into year 11 thhis september, and in october im going on holiday for 2 weeks, and at the same time theres work experience, so I don't get to go. but i really want to, if i miss it does this effect me in any way?

too be honest id actually rather stay home than go on holiday, 'cause i do really care about what will come out of the opportunity.

heelp pleasee :( .

MidnightSky agony aunthey :)

you may feel like your missing out by going on holiday, but try not to worry about it too much there are altrenatives if you miss out on wex.

you could work at your moms or dads place for a week, (even my mom suggested that when i didnt know what to do for w/x lol!) you could get a saturday job or in a half term holiday work for a few hours in a shop if they have advertisments going. or talk to your teachers at school or careers advisor or something and they might be able to sort something out for you.

i think i would feel out im missing out a little bit if i was in your shoes but you'll have lots of wpork opportunities, so relax and enjoy your holiday :D

Fiona xxx agony auntYou could arrange your work experience for a different time eg 1/2 term break, or xmas break.

Nobody in the workplace would notice.

if the work experience is for a good company you should stay. But your only in year eleven and you can easily arrange something for Easter term for work experience.

But ultimately it is your choice. You don't have to worry about having work experience until you are going into year thirteen when you start making your applications.

Hope that helped a bit

lois-mcphee agony aunti dont really think it would be a big difference.

maybe the holiday would be a break from school work & stuff but if you're so unsure have a word with your teachers & parent see what they think eh!! you never know a break could be good!!!
