Im not sure if to stay at my school and go to sixth form or go to college. is there much difference quality wise?? i want to go to college because i want to get away from younger kids into a more adult environment. Also i dont really have many friends at school these days. Due to us drifting apart and being so busy and well... not really having much in common.. ect So i thought college would be a good opportunity to meet new people. My step dad says i should stay at sixth form as my school is one of the best in the city. What are ur views on the subject? Why did u choose college/sixth form?? Reply to this Question Share |

if your an independant person hu is ready to be thrown in the deep end with all the work bein done by yourself then go for the collge option but if that scares you a lil then go for sixth form, yea its independant but its closer to secondary school with a bit more support
good luck huni xxxx

Well i went to a College instead of my 6th Form but i left soon after when i found out i college that the environment can be pretty cold, in the sense that no one knows you so you will not recieve the help in the areas you need.
So i went back to my 6th form. Surprisingly most people had matured by then and i prefered it as i knew y teachers and they knew me so i recieved the help i needed in the areas i needed.
But this is my experience, your may be difference.
Talk with your step-dad. Make a list of pros and cons of both 6th form and college. Good Luck!!

Listen to your dad. It is really better to be a little older before going off for more schooling.
