writes:Hi guys.I started a new school in september and there's this really hot guy, who seems to be the school heart-throb, (loads of girls like him) but he keeps staring at me and I can feel his eyes on me (if u see what I mean), he's really shy around me but a loud member of his group. I wait to get a taxi home from school and sometimes he waits near me although we've never actually spoken face to face (only on msn), I think he has told friends as well because when I walk past the group they go quiet and at least one of them looks at me!His friends seem really interested in me. They and him are in most of my classes and I can talk to his friends but am too shy to talk to him.We have some things in common and we talk about them on msn.My male friends say he is playing hard to get but I don't know whether he just doesn't like me!I know it's only been a couple of months now but people say he is crazy about me, although they aren't the ones I need to hear it from.So.. I need as much help as possible because my friends know i'm crazy about him and they say it's driving them mad!Please help...

reader, anonymous, writes (30 October 2008): Look lovey, when you get older you will realise just how unimportant the school heart throb is. Most school heart throb jocks are as thick as bricks and only want one thing. Once they get it you will hear that many rumours about what you've done. Save face and get to know someone for their mind and not their face, or simply just grow up because life is full of more important things to worry about other than guys, you have the rest of your life, don't waste it on him.
