I text a lot too and sometimes there are days when you just both run dry on ideas. Just always keep the questions going. Like "hmmm I just realized I don't know your favorite color/number/animal." Or: "How would you feel if I got my hair cut like this...?" Just random questions.
And I suppose when in doubt you could just ask "What are you up to" hopefully they won't say nothing because nobody is ever doing absolutely nothing and you can usually comment on it.
If you text more than you see them I guess you could say you miss them and try to meet up soon. Texting is fun, but doesn't beat actually being there physically :]
You're still young so visiting each other is sort of difficult. She probably appreciates that you're thinking about her all day long enough to text her throughout the day.
What I do is a space out the time inbetween my texts, meaning I don't reply ASAP when the text comes. I usually wait 10-20 minutes - type up your reply and save it in drafts, that way you can edit it and reread it to make sure it's exactly what you want to say.
Enjoy
