A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My ex broke up with me last september after 1 year of dating. we really did love each other, but after i came back from a holiday she said she couldnt trust me and broke up with me. i suspected that she was going out with another guy, which she denied obviously.

she asked me to go back with her twice later on in the year but i had said no as i moved on and was meeting other girls. none of them were as great as my ex, and now i cant stop thinking about her. we're not even as close anymore but we talk from time to time, im afraid to ask her out now becuz i think shes got a boyfriend and afraid she'l say no. plz!! what should i do?

i might be a girl but i can help agony auntwell you could ask her if she has a boyfriend first just drop it in to conversation. and its finally up to if she says no she hasn't got a boyfriend. do you want to take the risk and she want happens or do you want to remain friends. in my opinion if you are not that close anymore just remain friends and see what happens xxx
