Hi there. Because you say she smiles at you first, well then she is interested. If she wasn't, she'd probably look away and not hold your gaze the way she does.
So this is definitely a very good sign.
The next stage is after or before class, simply say to her - "Hi, how has your day been so far?" - and smile as you say this.
Then see what she says.
Most likely a conversation will start up - and then you're away.
Don't worry too much about what to say. Once you have broken the ice with a simple "Hi" or "Hello" and a warm friendly smile, the rest is really easy.
Because you can already see that she is interested in you - she meets your gaze for a few seconds, PLUS she smiles at you - you already have a head start.
This makes it very easy.
