Our first year was great but since then things have seemed to turn bad.He has problems with his finances and ex and maintenance, he had to move away to another job to be able toe earn enough, we have been living apart for a year and the relationship seems to have gone flat and stale as well. We used to have such a great time together and now he mostly watches tv and hardly talks when we visit one another, we don't do things together like we used to and it's not the same. He's trying to get his problems sorted out and I have as few of my own but we hardly talk about a future together any more and I'm wondering how much longer we can keep going before I give up or he does because we are going nowhere slowly. if your not married split and call it a day. Your partner isnt ready for a relationship he has to be able to take care of himself first

It seems not and the fact that you are questioning things is a strong sign that you know you have come to the end of the line. You just need that final push. Love, fun, comfort, trust, shared interests are all important ingredients to sustain a relationship. Don't sell yourself short - if the negative outways the positive - move on, sad yes, but sometimes it is just the way it has to be.
