writes:Im in love with my best friend, shes a girl-im a girl! i dont fancy any other girls but i cant help but feel attracted to her. i dont know if she loves me--she tells me she does and we almost kissed when we were drunk but does she just like me as a friend? weve got realy close with touching and kissing but this only happens when we are drunk. i dont want to be alone, i fear lonliness so am i confused about my feelings and only think i want her cos she shows me attention-how can i tell if i really love her? im blatantly confused. do i confess my love to her or are there any things i can do to see if she loves me too without admitting it to her?HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes People can get so scared of being alone that they may hang on to unsatisfactory relationships and situations..this is very common for someone who fears loneliness..this may be your problem. If i was you i would think very carefully about this, because if you did tell your friend how you feel you might scare her off.
It is possible to overcome your fears of being alone. You need to think hard about the reasons for your feelings and what positive steps you can take

reader, anonymous, writes (11 July 2007): keep doing things to get her attention. touch her and see if she reacts in a good way or in a bad way!! its not bad to like girls but you shouldn't be ashamed to tell her how you feel. if she really is your friend but she doesnt want to be anything more thn that then she will stick by you.if she only wants to be friends then just act like a friend round her stop touching her and act like her best friendit s the best thing that oyu can do.

i think this is only natural it is a fact that every girl has been phisicly attracted to another girl before. whether i was for a minute or a year. tell her how you feel when she is drunk and see what her respond is. if it is possitive then tell her again when you have sobered up. if the respond doesnt go so well you can always say the drink must have got to you. good luck.
