Question - (1 February 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 3 February 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've fancied my flatmate ever since we met but I've been doing the right thing and just keeping my distance because we're flatmates and we have to live together. We have a very close relationship regardless, and we always have drinks together in his bedroom. Sometimes we jokingly flirt with eachother, but nothing ever comes off it. The other night I got really drunk and ended up in his bedroom again and we were drinking. But I was more drunk because I'd been out drinking previously. Anyways, I ended up more drunk than usual and dont remember much other than saying to him "it's cos we're flatmates tho isnt it?" and then him being like "how do you mean?" and i never explained what i mean to him because i was so drunk. Anyways Ive been talking to him and apparently I came on to him that night. I don't know what to do. I don't know if he now knows I fancy him or if he just dismissed it as, his mate was drunk and talking complete crap. He said to me, "dont worry, people do silly things when drunk." Please help :( I dont know what to do. He was never meant to find out I fancied him, I've been pretending to be his friend and nothing more and now he migh actually kow I fancy him.
