Not worth it. If she is going to get jealous over that wonder what else she would get jealous over in the future and then she would get to controlling and next thing you know it she will be telling you what to do

reader, anonymous, writes (1 June 2008): I think you have had a lucky escape, if she is going to get upset after she has been with you for only 2months and you danced with a girl, then she will be super jealous in the future. Move on and dont go back.

It strikes me, however, that if a relatively petty indiscretion was enough to make her decide that she didn't want to see you again, then it wasn't much of a serious relationship in the first place.
People who form lasting relationships rarely break up for just one isolated and minor incident, even at the beginning of a relationship if it's something that is really likely to go anywhere. They talk about it (or even shout at each other about it!) and set the ground rules for the future.
You can always try apologising and asking for forgiveness, assuring her that nothing like that will ever happen again. But seriously, if she cared for you in any meaningful way would she really have said she never wants to see you again after something like this? Think about it.
