writes:So ive been best mates with this guy and recently he's been flirting alot and then he asked me who ide rather go out with out of all his friends and i said probably him because i know him best and i asked him the same and he said me and then when we were messing around in class he asked me out but i think it just kinda slipped out of his mouth and i said no and when he asked me why i told him it was because he has a dirty mind (dirty comments), but it wasn't actually that it was mostly the fact that he'd put me on the spot (hes the type of guy who demands an answer straight away) and also he had only split up with his gf 3 days before(they hav had a kinda rocky relationship because of our friendship, e.g. his gf was jealous of my relationship with him and they broke up once because of it but got back together a couple of days later but im sure he's over her now even though i really dont want to be a rebound from that relationship. The reason she was scared of our friendship was because she said we seemed as close as she was to him before they were going out (he split up with his last gf because of her)), so he got a little embarrassed and insisted he wasn't being serious. After that i immediately regretted my decision and realised how i had feelings for him too, and those feelings have grown and grown since then to the point where i cant stop thinking about him. The next day was the end of term and he asked me what ide say if he asked me out and i said probably yes, but he didn't actually ask me out. Now ive got a two week holiday without speaking to him and im scared ive put him off me, what if he's completely lost interest in me by the time we go back to school? When i went to email him to get him to go on his msn it said i love "H" and i cant work out if she is his older sister or a new gf. Help here? xx thanks and sorry this is so long

reader, anonymous, writes (12 April 2009): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionask him to ask me out again? wtf? and the reason i dont want to ask him out myself is because im scared he will have lost total interest in me, the reason i republished this with more details is because i didnt get any replies to my update, thanks anyway and i havnt spoken to him so no thats why i "didnt listen to your advice" xx

Hey again.
You asked this before and we all told you just ask him to ask you out again.
I don't think you have done that so there is not much point telling you to try anything else as you don't seem to want to take advice.
Ask him out and see what happens. Ask him who H is.
