I was kind of starting to think that he liked me too. EG also likes him and figures out that I like him too. People started saying that Al liked me because we used to laugh together and he acted differently around me. EG got jealous and started spreading rumors about Al. Pete told me when he found out. He later explained everything to me. He said that everyone was saying that Al liked me. He said that today he asked Al (in really confusing wording) whether he liked me in front of EG. Al said no and Pete said that he was serious. He also said that Al is a very good liar.I was thinking that Al liked me. EG is being horrible. I just don't know what to do about Al's behavior or EG. What do you think about Al's behavior; Doe he like me?

Disregard EG, she doesn't matter. What's important is what Pete and Al said. So you're thinking that Al said that he didn't like you so EG wouldn't get jealous and spread more rumors about him, correct? However, Pete confirmed that Al was being serious. If Pete and Al have been friends for a long time, then Pete should know when Al is lying. Now, wouldn't you think that if Al was lying this time, then Pete wouldn't have told you Al was being serious? You follow me?
Honestly, I think no Al doesn't like you. That's based upon your post. But, I'm not a mind reader and don't know Al personally. So the ONLY WAY to find out if Al likes you or not is to ask Al yourself or to have Pete ask him in private (the next time they hang out together outside of school).

Sometimes, guys don't like to talk about their feelings, even to friends.I suggestyou should ask him yourself. i know it's kinda difficult, though that's the only way to find out for sure.
