writes:I work with a girl who I am really interested in, even though we've never had a proper conversation. So, I want to ask her to go for a drink with me and get to know her better. The problem is that I can't think about her, let alone look at her or talk to her without a great big fat grin bursting onto my face. I know it's childish but I cannot help it for the life of me. I want to ask her out properly but I need a straight face to do so, or she won't take me seriously. I wouldn't ask here if I wasn't desperate for help. I'm going mad, I can't stop thinking about her. I have this feeling that we'd really get on well together. I have no idea if she likes me or not because whenever she sees me she stares at the floor, I have no idea if she's smiling or she doesn't want to look at me because it's so obvious that I'm obsessed with her.  i think she looks down/stares at the floor when you look at her because she likes you too. she might even be trying to hide her own cheesy grin. i know that i used to do this when a guy i like looked at me.
don't worry about smiling when you talk to her. if you try and keep a straight face you'll end up half-smiling half-sneering and that won't go down very well. just be true to yourself, ask her out and grin because you like her.

Just ask her with a smile on your face, it won't hurt to do it because smiling is your way to get her attention and let her know you're interested and that's NOT a bad thing!

 hey lol well i have the same prob as u..except in this case its a guy i like lol n he does the same thing wen he luks at me as in sees the floor n starts smiling even i dunno hun what it means..but all i can tell u is we girls expect the guys to be more bolder come forward n talk..so go ahead n talk to her otherwise u will keep wondering whats goin on with u..it wil turn u crazy lol..so all the best..hoping the best 4 u..n definitely i would like to knw how it goes with u
