So I consider myself bisexual; I have no sexual preferences because for me emotional love always comes first before physical interest, though I've only ever had a somewhat physical relationship with one person, another girl. I crave physical contact, but I realized that when I think I'm attracted to/in love with someone what I actually want is a different sort of touch--hugs/cuddles, sometimes kisses, but basically I want emotional, intimate contact but I never necessarily think about sex with another person. I do masturbate on my own so it is not an issue of not being turned on, I just can't imagine having sex WITH someone, and whenever a relationship seems like it could contain that in its future it freaks me out because it seems like it DEGRADES the emotional connection I have with the person. So, do you think I could be ace? Or just over-analytical, and I haven't found the right person yet? (highly likely considering I'm just a junior in high school haha)THANKS!

I am now confident that this is not quite such an anomaly and I will just let things play out. Thanks for responding! :)

Don't worry about who you are, just what you will do about it.
Your sexuality is your own business, and does not have to be compared with some standard of normalcy.
Its not hurting anyone, and look at the bright side. You won't end up a teenage mom.
And lastly, at your age, you haven't really developed.
