Im 16 leaving for sixth form however, today a girl, who is going into Year 10 said she liked me and that - and i admit i did too - but after the fiasco my previous friend had with the same situation i dont want to be jeered and mocked - but I cant get her out of my head! westy is verified as being by the original poster of the questionwell currently, (may sound dunmb) i could'nt sleep last night and when i think about asking her - iget this real aderliane rush and get pumped up and nervous. Ive never felt like that before. I just guess Im nervous to recieve loads of jibe from my m8s.

Jeered? Mocked? For dating a girl a whole year younger? Puh-leease. If your mates would give you a hard time for going out with the girl of your choice, then those are friends you don't need. (Probably jealousy speaking anyway.)
I know it's a tough assignment but you did ask for advice. This is what a worldly adult would do in your situation: he'd ask her out and get to know her, and if his friends dared to make negative comments, he'd smile and tell 'em to go fall in a hole.
