writes: 16 year old girl, at an all girls school, have a mixed group of friends that i go out with regularly and were even going on holiday togetherso i have guy-friends, its just guys never seem interested in me. its not that i want to go somewhere with my friendsits just when i meet new guys they never seem interestedmy standards arent that high, just cute and nicehelp!!! i am starting to feel like theres something wrong with me, and i just feel so insecure because i cant get a boyfriend!

 wo chill out, 16 and your getting stressed over boys? i jus turned 24 an i never been in a serious relationship lol, but i know why that is.. cause like you i dont try hard enough. if i could have gotten over the whole "oh ther must be somthing wrong with me" issues at an earlyer stage in my life id be married by now lol so the best thing you can do is put those silly thoughts to the back of you mind and remember that thers alot of good guys out ther an if you havnt found the right one by 16 then dont sweat it cause you an me both got a lot of time ahead of us, and when you find a the right guy it will feel more special that way, gudluk

 Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you. I had issues like this a few years ago! When you least expect it you will get into a relationship! I was single for ages and then I got happy with being single, I then met my current boyfriend and we have been together for 3 years. You just have to be happy with being single, that helps a lot when it comes to getting a boyfriend. X

reader, anonymous, writes (17 May 2009): hun im with you on that. only diffrence is i dont go to an all girl school but i still cant get a boyfriend.you cant think theres something wrong with you just because those guys dont like you. maybe they only see you as a friend because you dont try to build a deeper connection or something. or maybe its just not meant to be. i bet your a great girl you just havent found the right guy. so dont go looking for love let it come to you, and when it does come dont let it go. good luck :) and dont worry !
