I bought some gifts for my valentine. on the day we disagreed and I have given up on her love because it looks like she will never express her love to me. the question is what do I do with the presents. I cannot return them as the store wont accept them back. I have considered selling them to a friend of hers but this seems harsh because she will see her friend in the dress. she had earlier tried it on and knows how it looks. what should I do with the gifts. please i need many answers

well it would seem a problem indeed chances of finding another girlfriend that fits the dress are more than likely slim ha ha sell them to her friend if you are sure you dont want her back as she will be pissed at the friend for buying them not you for selling as you dont matter anyway by the way you tell the story, sorry to be harsh but i know only to well what it is like to love and not be loved things dont always happen in the correct time but hey your not damaged other than a little loss of cash (this i mite add seems to be causing trouble for you too) move on sell the stuff and look forward to the next chapter in your journy of life

Give them to a charity, that would be a lovely gesture and they could make some money from it, unless you are skint and in need of the cash. If that is the problem, then sell them, but not to her friend, that would be harsh.

Take care

xx

Ask Heather agony auntWell you could always give them to me! Tee Hee, Only Joking. I`m sorry things didn`t work out with your chosen lady, life can be hard at times. I agree with CD, it may be a good idea to give these things to charity. It will get these Items away from you, with the memories & hopes & dreams too. You will also get that "Feel Good" Feeling, that No money can buy. I Wish you Better Luck with the next lady who meets you, not many men are this romantic you know! Most of us count ourselves lucky if we get a card from the Garage, as he`d only stopped for gas, and there was a HUGE display of cards to remind him! (he picks the cheapest!) Kind Regards, Heather.

cd206 agony auntDepends. I once had a similar(ish) situation in which I bought my grandpa a christmas present and then he died suddenly and I didn't know what to do with the present. I was too sad to give it to someone else so I ended up giving it to charity and it made me feel much better. Unless you're desperately in need of the money do something selfless.

And if it's a dress, why don't u try to sell it on EBay, or give it to someone else as a present of sorts?

Give them away. I once hand-folded 143 origami roses for a girl I didn't give to. I ended up giving about 70 of them to about 70 different women and the rest to my friends and family.
