I really don't have that many friends, I moved here about two years ago and it's been all work and family, really.Anyway, my question is whether I need to tell my wife about an unpleasant incident that happened in our house this weekend. One weekend evening, I was feeling pretty low and being alone in our house got to me. So I went out to the pub in the village for the first time. I drank a lot, something which I don't do at all, and invited a few people over to my house after closing time. They came, we drank some more. I passed out on the sofa in the living room and these new "friends" crashed in the upstairs bedroom. I believe two of my guests had sex on my bed!I woke up the next morning, feeling dreadful, and found that the woman was gone and I got the guy who was still sleeping in my bed to get moving. I promptly washed the sheets and vacuumed our carpet.I wonder if this is something that I should tell my wife. She would freak out - for all the right reasons. I am always very responsible and sensible and I have never done anything to give her reason not to trust me and I don't want to start now.I know honesty is the best policy, but isn't this a case of what you don't know won't hurt you.

There will be lots of folks who will tell you that she should know about your Boo-Boo, Well I'm not one of them. You screwed up once, guess you'll also screw up again if you tell her. Let it alone, but do hope that you have learned something from your BOO BOO.
