Even if your friend agrees to it, you still shouldn't go there, the thing is your friend is agreeing because she loves you and wants to be happy. But it would be difficult for her if you both started dating and it would upset her. Be a good friend and don't go there.

I think I phrased that incorrectly. I dont mean always choose friends to be correct over partners as that's not always the case, I meant it as it's not worth losing a best friend over a partner if they've already been together.
