Hello. I have a real problem here (again, lol) I just started talking to this 14 year old about a week ago. We became really good friends and I think he is overall and awesome person. But now he claims to have fallen in love with me...IN A WEEK!!! And i have no clue what to do. I dont wanna hurt him and i definitely dont wanna ruin our friendship, because its a good and true one. I am in love with his best friend (who is my ex) and he knows this, yet he is still putting the pressure of 'his love' on me and i don't know what to do!!!!!

A reader, anonymous, writes (17 February 2008):

Just tell him that you don't want to hurt his feelings but you only want to be friends.

It sounds so simple when I put it like that but I know that it'll be tough telling him. Better sooner than later though. x x x

Laura1318 agony auntYou cannot stop anyone from loving you .Just as you cannot stop the birds from flying over your head.

You need to pour some cold water on him and let him know that you only want to be friends with him .

That will be enough to stop him in his tracks.
