i met this guy a year ago at uni and we were basically just having sex and seeing eachother and have been for the past year and in the summer he called me up and told me he liked me and that when we got back to uni he would like me to be his girlfriend. so we carried on texting and talking during summer....

and i find out when i got back from my holiday he had got fimself a girlfriend. when we got back to university last month he still text me and we met up had sex, and i told him how i felt. and he told me i should of told him earlier as he really liked me too and we left eachother. since then we havent spoke, i have seen him in nightclubs and he stares at me, and if i even go near another guy he doesnt stop looking at me then he dances with other girls and keeps looking at me to make sure i know he can get attention too and this really upsets me.

i just really dont know what all this means, and im so upset over it all.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (4 October 2009):

Well, I think he used you to be honest. However, you could always talk to him again to see how he feels. He might have realized he made a mistake and is waiting for you to make another move, or he might be hoping to use you again. Talk to him, but don't have sex with him again until you're sure of what he wants from you. If he doesnt' reply, accept that he's no good and find a better guy.
