I am trying to get my ex back!

Question - (27 April 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 12 November 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am trying to get my ex back. We were dating for few months when i kissed someone else. I came clean the next day and he broke up with me. I know what i did was wrong and i regret it more than anything. I really love this guy and i want nothing more than to be with him.

The first time we talked after breaking up he said that he wanted me to show him that i can fix things without actually being with him. So i made efforts to accomplish this but i just don't know if i am going about things in the right way. My last attempt was to write a letter explaining that i was going to give him space because my other efforts seemed to be pushing him away. Then he started texting me telling me that i seem like i am not bothered by the breakup and i am having a good time without him. When i tried to explain to him that this was not the case he stopped answering me.

Where do i go from here? What does he want from me? How should i be acting?

KissPEPPER agony auntHe knows your not having a good time and he's trying to gain control so when he does get back together with you he'll hold all the cards. Give him one more chance, a yes or no question, tell him if he wants to be with you this will be the only chance and this will show him that hes not in control. If he wants to be with you he'll come running and if he says no then I guess you need to move on to
