Highly suggest you and he sit down outside the bedroom and discuss openly and honestly what the issues are or may be. Accept no fault and cast no blame either! It could be many things. anxity, stress, depression, ED. religion,up bringing, or a host of other issues. Just calmly, carefully and rationally talk about the issue and work toward resolving them. "The soldier is having a problem in trench warfare and may need some more basic training."(See,, you can start the conversation on a humorous note, and keep the conversation relaxed- less clinical,, and still get the issue out where you and he can figure out the solution.) .
