But now that I am single I'm finding it really hard to be in a relationship with someone close to home, I can't seem to get used to it as I was so used to all the space I got in the previous relationship. Please help I don't know what to do!

Tree,What you need to do, is keep attemtping to make a relationship close to home work. It doesn't need to be serious, but the more time you spend with a guy, the more used to it you will get. This is all part of the life process I suppose, but you have to get through this if you plan to progress in life-unless you marry a guy in the army!
